Traci Van Pelt began her practice as a civil trial lawyer with the prestigious San Francisco law firm of Bronson, Bronson & McKinnon. In 1996, she joined the Denver firm of Long & Jaudon, and became a founding shareholder of McConnell Siderius Fleischner Houghtaling & Craigmile, LLC in 2001.

Ms. Van Pelt handles a variety of complex civil cases. The current focus of her practice is the defense of legal and medical professionals in malpractice/professional liability cases. She has extensive courtroom experience and has represented some of Colorado’s top lawyers and law firms. Ms. Van Pelt also handles a broad spectrum of matters for a number of Colorado hospitals. At MSFHC she continues to handle complex commercial litigation matters, as well as the defense of class action cases against professionals.

Ms. Van Pelt received her law degree from Hastings College of Law at the University of California.  She is admitted to practice in Colorado, California and Wyoming and before the Ninth and Tenth Circuits, and the United States Supreme Court. She is a member of the American, Colorado, Denver and Colorado Women's Bar Associations.
