Employment Law

The Employment Practice Group at MSFHC handles a broad range of issues in the employment law arena. We routinely represent corporate clients in all the defense of employment related actions on issues such as harassment, discrimination, invasion of privacy, whistle-blower claims, wrongful discharge, libel and slander, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duties, retaliation, and wrongful termination claims. MSFHC also represents individuals with employment related concerns including contract negotiation and termination of employment matters.

We also work actively with our clients on risk management issues. Our attorneys counsel corporate clients on preventative measures, such as the adoption and employment of appropriate employment policies and procedures and compliance with state and federal law, in order to proactively deter litigation and liability.

When employment issues arise, we know our clients want quick, realistic and worthwhile results. Employment litigation can be disruptive to business and individuals in terms of profits, compensation and morale. We work closely with our clients to help limit these disruptions and corresponding litigation costs through alternative dispute resolution, counseling and seminars. Our goal is to achieve positive results as quickly as possible and allow our clients to get back to business.
